Drain Care considers quality assurance an important part of CCTV and infiltration work, therefore undertake regular quality audits of work carried out and staff performance.

Our operators are tidy, conscientious workers and are always careful to prevent or minimise damage to private property.  Drain Care is focussed on ensuring staff is properly trained in all aspects of the work they do.

Safety is of the utmost importance to Drain Care.  Full safety equipment is on hand at every site and includes:

– Gas Detectors
– Man Lifting Frame
– Harnesses
– Breathing Apparatus
– Protective clothing

On-site hazards are identified using a hazard identification flowchart and forms included in our Health & Safety Manual.  Procedures are outlined in the manual for dealing with emergencies on site.

Barriers, signs and other relevant devises are required by staff members to be erected on site in accordance with Transit NZ standards.  Plans of specific cone/sign etc set-ups are followed as outlined in the Transit NZ’s Manual “Code of Practice for Temporary Traffic Management in New Zealand”, for both main roads & streets and side streets.

Staff members undertake a health questionnaire and their inoculations are up-to-date, especially but not only, because they deal with live sewer lines.

Drain Care has established effective systems & procedures to provide satisfactory results in the various Asset Management Systems used by each client.
